The Inauguration – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the USA Pavilion at DEFEA 2023 was held on Tuesday, May 9 at 13.00 hours at the entrance of Hall 4 of the Exhibition where the USA Pavilion is located and was attended by high-ranking military executives and representatives from the worldwide defense community. AmChamGR President Nikolaos Bakatselos conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony of the USA Pavilion together with George Tsunis, US Ambassador to Greece, Nikos Panagiotopoulos Greek Minister of National Defense, Doug Bush, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) and Army Acquisition Executive, Mr. Nikos Chardalias, Deputy Minister of Defense, General Konstantinos Floros, Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff and Sandy Long, Senior Advisor for Defense Exports, DASA (DE&C). The USA Pavilion Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held with great success, and many distinguished guests honored the USA participation with their presence.
