AmChamGR Education-Innovation-Entrepreneurship Committee and The Athens Startup Business Incubator of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry sign a Memorandum of Understanding for entrepreneurship promotion and extroversion signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in order to develop the competitiveness of Greek businesses and the economy. Emphasis will be given on extroversion, scientific research promotion, the entrepreneurial climate improvement, on transferring know-how and leveraging innovative ideas. The purpose of the memorandum is for the two agencies to expand their cooperation to promote Greek innovation to the US and attracting new investment. The President of the ACCI, Constantinos Michalos, said that “the goal is to cooperate and develop joint structures” and added that “the goal is to introduce US tech hubs to improve the interconnection of startups entrepreneurship with the technological and investment environment in the US “. For his part, the President of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Nikolaos Bakatselos, stressed that “startup entrepreneurship is a very important pillar and through cooperation we hope to contribute to the reversal of brain drain”.
