AmChamGR successfully organized the 2nd Digital Sustainability Forum, focusing this time on the Role of AI in the Healthcare System, on February 21, 2020.
The forum was supported by Microsoft and IBM and is part of a series of discussions that was initiated by AmChamGR on AI and its impact on all sectors of the economy but also on the sentiments and perceptions of the society for this technological breakthrough.
Grigoris Zarifopoulos, Deputy Minister of Digital Governance and Vassilis Kontozamanis, Deputy Minister of Health participated in a closed constructive dialogue with representatives of the public and private healthcare system, experts from health technology related stakeholders, associations and organization and members of the European Parliament.
The aims of the discussion were to find a solution on the technical limitations that prevent the exchange and use of medical data, to take measures to strengthen the feeling of confidence in technological applications in the field of health, to agree on a commonly accepted regulatory framework, which excludes cases of privacy and personal data violations, to ensure the further development and safe implementation of AI in the field of health and to build on the development of Greek economy and improve the standard of living of citizens.
AmChamGR will submit the conclusions of the closed discussion to the Ministries of Digital Governance and Health.
