AmCham’s Information and Telecommunications Committee members met with the Minister of Digital Governance K. Pierrakakis and Dep. Minster G.Zarifopoulos, U.S. Ambassador G. Pyatt and senior officers of the US Embassy. President of AmCham Nikolaos Bakatselos and Executive Director Elias Spirtounias were also present at this very important meeting
The members companies of AmCham’s committee underlined the fact that the creation of a structure at the highest political level-rather than the prime Minister-is a timeless demand for the industry, for the central and horizontal coordination of all technological and digital actions, investments and infrastructure projects for the country, and how it can be the crucial catalyst for more efficient use of technology in a public and private sector. The members also expressed their full willingness in contributing with their expertise and best practices to the efforts of the digital modernization of the state and its extroversion of the Greek Economy.
