Spyros Gkikas-Panousis, General Manager Greece-Cyprus at GE Healthcare was announced as New President of the Medical Devices & Diagnostics Committee of AmCham and Panos Pitsilides, Managing Director at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Greece and Cyprus, was announced as Committee’s Vice President. The announcement was made during the first Committee Meeting of 2024 that took place virtually on Monday, February 26, 2024.
Spyros Gkikas Panousis emphasized the role of the specific committee as a platform for thinking and creation, based on teamwork, coexistence and consensus, operating with transparency, honesty and straightness.
Panos Pitsillides stated that the new leadership of the MD & D Committee aspires to continue the exceptional work of the past president Theodore Liakopoulos who served for more than 12 consecutive years, and will leave its own legacy in the field of healthcare services in our country.
