On October 14, 2024, Governor Eric Holcomb and representatives from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) met with Board of Directors members of AmCham Greece. The delegation is organized by the State International Development Organizations (SIDO).
An AmCham briefing was held where members of the Executive Committee and BoD showcased the Chamber’s activities, initiatives, and opportunities for collaboration.

- Governor Eric Holcomb, emphasized that American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams) are vital first contacts for exploring global opportunities, highlighting collaboration as essential for both states to thrive. Indiana shows significant potential in sectors like defense, manufacturing, and agriculture. Gov. Holcomb has successfully focused on economic growth, infrastructure improvements, job creation, and workforce development in Indiana. Under his leadership, Indiana has attracted significant investments, improved infrastructure and expanded educational opportunities while it prioritized public health and cybersecurity, positioning Indiana as a competitive state for business. Indiana’s strengths in manufacturing, innovation, agriculture, technology, and its dynamic business environment offer plenty of possibilities for Greek businesses and investors. Together, Greece and the State of Indiana have the potential to pioneer new areas of collaboration, from technology and renewable energy to trade and education.
