Between Oct 5 and 8, Nikolaos Bakatselos, President of AmCham Greece and Elias Spirtounias, Executive Director of AmCham Greece, participated at the annual National Hellenic Society’s (NHS) conference in Las Vegas. During these three days AmChamGR had the opportunity to meet very prominent members of NHS and the Hellenic-American Community, and present them the scope, goals and activities and what our Chamber has accomplished and keep standing for regarding the US-Greece economic and trade relations and beyond. Along with AmCham Greece was Ms. Claudia Carydis, Member of our BoD, representing the ACG in the conference.
AmCham Greece expresses its heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to Drake G Behrakis, Chair of NHS and Arthur Dimopoulos, Executive Director of NHS for their very warm and exceptional hospitality and the fantastic program they set for this year’s conference. We also thank the members of NHS, many of those we had the pleasure to meet with and exchange valuable thoughts and ideas.
AmCham Greece team was impressed by their deep appreciation and love for their Greek origin and their extraordinary efforts to preserve and pass on the values of the Hellenic Cultural heritage to younger Greek-American generations. Our Chamber is standing by these efforts because we consider vital the engagement of younger generations in initiatives and activities that foster further the Greek-American relations in all levels.
