Greece and the United States reaffirmed their excellent bilateral relations and mutual desire to further deepen cooperation in a range of areas, from defense and security, investment, and energy, to education and culture, according to the joint statement published after the meeting of the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias with the U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo.

In Thessaloniki, the Secretary will sign a bilateral science and technology agreement, as well as host energy sector business leaders for a discussion to highlight energy diversification and infrastructure projects in Greece.
