The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, via the Intellectual Property Rights Committee, participated in the consultation of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade which took place on July 17th, on the draft law of the Ministry of Development and Trade on the “Interdepartmental Market Control Unit, tackling illegal trade, fines for trafficking in counterfeit products and the regulation of industry, private investment, public-private partnerships, research and innovation”.
Chairman of Intellectual Property Rights Committee @Yannis Mastrocostas and IPR Committee member @Michalis Kosmopoulos stressed the importance of public-private partnership. The fight against illegal trade is directly linked to social cohesion and prosperity, but also to the goal of making Greece a reliable and secure investment destination.
