The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and its International Trade Department “TradeUSA” participated at the webinar “How to Do Business in the U.S.A., COVID19 Challenges and opportunities”, organized by the Embassy of Greece in Washington D.C. and Enterprise Greece, on June 11th,, 2020.
Distinguished speakers from the international trade community shared valuable insights on the impact of the pandemic on the US market, with a special focus on the retail industry, while our AmCham presented key figures regarding bilateral trade between Greece and the US, analysed the new consumer trends and addressed the challenges and opportunities COVID19 has created for Greek companies for doing business in the U.S.A.
Takeaway: The US is a valuable trading partner and a dynamic export market for Greek companies, as in recent years we have seen a sharp increase in exports as well as an interest from multiple industries to expand their business operations to the US.
