The 7th annual EXPOSEC-DEFENSEWORLD Conference “Defining a modern defense and security strategy”, took place on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Hellenic Armed Forces Officers Club (LAED). The conference was organized by Symeon G. Tsomokos S.A. and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA).

The constant change in geostrategic relationships, the need for a modern and flexible national defense and security strategy, the necessary consensus and constructive cooperation as requirements needed to address the ever-changing and complex threats which jeopardize democratic values and affect the safety of citizens and the role of the Greek defense industry as valuable partner in international programs, discussed in depth during the conference and analyzed by distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad.

Εxposec-Defenseworld conference has been established as an important forum for dialogue between experts from the defense and security sectors.
